I am so pleased to welcome you to Arundel Christian School (ACS)! We are a non-denominational Christian school registered with the Maryland State Board of Education.

ACS strives to provide an excellent education within a godly and safe atmosphere while supporting positive home values. Our administration and faculty have decades of solid experience in Christian education. We encourage students, both collectively and individually, to reach their highest potential. I realize that choosing a private education is an important decision from both an academic and a financial perspective. It begs the question as to why you would choose private Christian education at ACS. Why, indeed?

First, we offer small class sizes that allow teachers to better focus their attention on your student. We realize that many schools, both public and private, have increasingly crowded classrooms. Many students' needs may be unintentionally overlooked in such settings. In contrast, we offer small class sizes, giving us the opportunity to observe the needs of our students and meet them. The average class size for our high school classes is under fifteen (15) students per class and most of our elementary and middle school class sizes are under twelve (12) students per class.

Second, we understand that your student may not fit into exactly the same mold as every other student. We enroll academically gifted students as well as students struggling to catch up. We do so because we are fortunate to work with a curriculum that allows us to adapt to the abilities and needs of the student. We guide each student so that he or she can reach the very highest potential and achieve great things based on his or her unique abilities and make-up. Third, we offer affordable tuition at rates that make a private school education a viable alternative for families. Our rates are 40-50% lower than other private schools in the area, without sacrificing quality, and we offer monthly payment plans.

Finally, as a Christian school, we honor the freedom to include the values of God's Word as a part of our school day. Our students have Devotions every morning and Chapel once a week and are taught the values as listed in our Statement of Faith. Having a strong foundation in God's Word helps our students to navigate the ever-increasingly difficult choices they will be called to make when they leave school to begin their adult lives.
