
Pre K4
Pre-K 3 students must be three (3) years old when entering the program. Our Pre-K 3 class, which meets 4 1/2 days a week, follows the Horizons / Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum as specified in the School of Tomorrow manual. This curriculum includes specific, detailed, sequential, and integrated daily lessons in phonics, Bible, number and letter recognition, social skills, and art.
Pre K4
Pre-K4 students must be four (4) years old when entering the program. Our Pre-K4 class also meets 4 1/2 days per week. This class follows a combination of the Horizons, Alpha-Omega, and Accelerated Christian Education Programs. Our Pre-K4 program is intended to prepare our students for entrance into our excellent Kindergarten program. Extra, advanced Pre-K4 students will often be included.
Kindergarden
Students entering kindergarten must be five (5) years old by September 1st. Alpha & Omega Publications(AOP) provides an advanced approach toward first grade readiness to read, emphasizing phonics on a daily basis with detailed, integrated, and sequential lesson plans. Core curriculum subjects are introduced: English, Word Building, Math, Science, and Social Studies, as well as electives of Spanish, Computer Literacy, Art, Music and P.E.
ACS is required to follow the Board of
Education mandates stating that kindergarten
students must be five (5) years old by Sept.
1st. We do, however, offer to test students
wishing to enter kindergarten who will be five
(5) by October 15 of their kindergarten year.
