ACS students can begin basic instrumental training beginning in 2nd & 3rd grades. They will learn the basics of reading music while playing the recorder. Students in 4th & 5th grades will be introduced to brass-wind, woodwind, and percussion instruments in a classroom setting. Students in grades 6 through 12 will then be eligible to join the ACS Concert Band where the emphasis will be placed on musical elements such as phrasing, interpretation, ensemble techniques, and intonation. Students who advance in their chosen instrument(s) will then be offered a position in the ACS Stage Band where the emphasis is placed on development of Swing, Latin, Rock, Soul, Funk, and Contemporary Christian & Gospel styles of repertoire and performance. Both the Concert and Stage Bands have performed at local music venues and have received awards for outstanding musical performances at national music festivals.

Arundel Christian School currently has a boys Junior Varsity and Varsity basket ball team called the Warriors. The ACS Warriors are currently members in the Capital Beltway Athletic Association, which is considered by many to be one of the most competitive conferences in the DMV area. The Warriors have posted consecutive winning seasons since joining the conference and have even had a player who was nationally recognized for an individual high-scoring game. ACS was the 2016-2017 Independent Christian School National Champions!
